Let’s understand each shape:
- Circle: A circle is a spherical form without any straight sides or corners like, a penny, a pizza, or a clock.
- Square: Four equal sides and four right angles make up a square like a tile, a windowpane, or a checkerboard square.
- Triangle: Three sides and three corners make into a triangle. An example would be a piece of pizza, a stop sign, or a boat sail.
- Rectangle: Four sides and four corners, or right angles, make up a rectangle. The lengths of opposite sides are equal. A smartphone, a book, or a door are a few examples.
- Oval: An oval resembles a circle that has been stretched out. It has two long sides and no corners. A racetrack, an egg, or a balloon are a few examples.
