The little engine that could: teaches to believe in yourself.

This is the story of the little machine (engine). Once there was a big train. It was carrying toys and food for children who lived on the other side of the mountain.
The big train quickly came to stop and broke down on the tracks. The toys and dolls were worried. “What will the children do if we don’t reach them?” they started crying.
Asking for Help
The toys asked a shiny new engine for help. “Please pull us over the mountain!” they said. But it said, “I only pull important trains. Not toys!” They then requested help from a large, powerful engine.. The big replied: “I’m too tired. Ask someone else.” The toys felt sad.
A little blue one arrives
Next came a small blue one which was not big or shiny. The toys asked for the help, “Will you help us?” It replied, “I’ve never been over the mountain before. but I will try for help you!”
Climbing the mountain
The Little Engine pulled the toys and food. It went up the steep mountain, slowly. “I think I can,” it said as it lifted up.
Reaching the top
At last, the Little Engine managed to reach the top of the mountain.
Then it started going down the other side faster and faster.
The toys were so happy. When they reached the town, the Little Engine smiled and said: “I thought I could! I thought I could!”
Moral of the story
Keep trying even if you think the job is big. Believe in yourself.
