Lets, understand each season
- Winter season begins on December 21 or 22 in the northern hemisphere. This is the winter solstice which is also the shortest period of daylight. The days are shorter and nights are longer. As the cold weather arrives, we wrap ourselves in layers of clothing with cozy sweaters, scarves, and boots.
- Summer season starts on June 20 or 21. It is the summer solstice, the most daylight of any day in the year. The days are longer, the sun shines brighter. People enjoy from swimming in the cool waters of the ocean with family and friends.
- Spring season and fall (autumn), start on equinoxes. These seasons have equal amounts of daylight and darkness. The spring equinox falls on March 20 or 21. This season brings with a sense of renewal and rejuvenation. As the days grow longer and warms up, impoverished trees start to sprout fresh green leaves, and colorful flowers start blooming.
- The fall or autumnal equinox begins on September 22 or 23. This is a time of transition when nature prepares for the colder months ahead. Farmers harvest and reap the benefits of the fruits and vegetables that have been taken care of throughout the year.
