A farmer once owned a goose that consistently lay a golden egg each day. The farmer used to sell that egg and make enough money to cover their family’s daily expenses. The farmer had an idea one day that he would be wealthy if he could find more of these golden eggs and generate a lot of money. In order to get all the golden eggs from the goose’s tummy, the farmer made the decision to cut the bird. There were no eggs within the goose’s stomach when they killed it and opened it. Stupidly, the farmer knew that their last resource had been ruined by greed.
